Gina Ferrara is pursuing a well-rounded education – she is double majoring in international business and marketing and she is also pursuing two minors: one in Chinese and another in information systems management.  Even with her busy schedule, Ferrera excels academically, having consistently made the dean’s list every semester that she has been at USF.

Outside of the classroom, Ferrera has served as a section leader of the USF Herd of Thunder Marching Band Drum Line.

She currently serves as president of the American Marketing Association, a role that requires a high degree of autonomy, motivation, and professionalism.  She credits her position with AMA for enhancing her leadership and public speaking skills.  In fact, for this year’s AMA Collegiate International Conference, Ferrera was selected to speak on how to run a successful chapter.  At that conference, USF’s chapter was named the fifth-best chapter in the nation (among 475+ chapters) and brought home two awards for its “AMA Saves Lives” campaign promoting organ donation.
